Select Board approves three Eversource pole plans
Select Board · Meeting of September 29, 2026
Plympton Select Board clears three Eversource pole plans and flags a budget squeeze. Town Accountant Lisa Hart told the board, 2-0-wait, voting 3-0 by roll call of members Smith, Cadigan and Sides, that an unbudgeted $9,200 software invoice and two old deficit accounts, including a police detail account with invoices "over two years old," are reducing free cash. Hart said roughly $250,000 in outstanding real estate taxes remains receivable, which she called "fairly average." The board separately approved three Eversource applications for poles on Spring and Brook streets, ratified the November 3 state election warrant, appointed election officials Nancy Butler and Elise Lyons and Conservation Commission member Gabriel Lundgren, and accepted resignations from Molly Hutt and Butler.
Warrants paid totaled $5,527.21. Community Preservation Committee Chair Alan Wheelock's letter said project proposals are due by mid-October.
