Plympton Planning Board Approves Signs for Kakadis Express and New Preschool

PLYMPTON — February 3, 2026 — Plympton Planning Board unanimously approved sign permits for two Main Street businesses at its February 3 meeting. Emma Battles of Brenner Signs, Plymouth, appeared before the board to submit applications on behalf of Kakadis Express and a new preschool called Asher Sandbox, both at the same address. The Kakadis Express application covered two identical wall-mounted signs totaling 21 square feet — just under the town's 22-square-foot maximum — replacing a temporary banner the business had been displaying without a permit. The Asher Sandbox application covered a single 14-square-foot wall sign for the preschool, which is preparing to open in a unit at the same building. Both permits were approved without opposition. The board also confirmed, via correspondence from the building inspector, that a proposed use for the Winnetux at River Provide property on Main Street is not among the listed allowed uses under Plympton zoning — a finding the building inspector independently shared.
