PLYMPTON -- February 13, 2025, Plympton Board of Selectmen approves two Recreation Commission appointments and declares a snow and ice budget emergency at its February 13 meeting. The board unanimously appointed Becky Archambault and Neepo Wadsworth to the Recreation Commission for terms through June 30, 2027, and voted to allow the highway department to continue deficit spending after exhausting its snow and ice appropriation. Town Administrator Liz Dennehy reported the Brockton Enterprise has been identified as the likely replacement for legal advertising once the Plympton-Halifax Express closes, with all boards expected to use a single outlet.
