Plympton Select Board Adopts Code of Conduct, Sets Early Voting Hours
PLYMPTON — September 23, 2024 — Plympton Select Board approves code of conduct and sets early voting schedule for November election. The board voted unanimously at its September 23 meeting to implement a new code of conduct for appointed boards and staff, with members acknowledging elected boards remain outside its reach. Town Clerk Tara's recommended in-person early voting hours — nine days across two weeks in October, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day — were also approved without objection. Town Administrator Liz reported free cash was certified at $598,401 and that she had signed the Green Communities grant contract for a library energy project with Eversource. She also raised an end-of-month ARPA paperwork deadline tied to a Town Properties Committee well project, warning that the funds could be at risk if documents are not submitted in time.
