Plympton Board of Health Schedules Special Meeting on Town Meeting Article 19
PLYMPTON -- April 28, 2026, Plympton Board of Health schedules special meeting on town meeting article and flags unresolved well compliance. Meeting on April 28, the board voted unanimously to reduce shake machine testing at KK's Donuts to monthly, following a period of passing results and on the recommendation of health agent Kathy, who cited a comparable monthly schedule used for a McDonald's machine in Carver. The board also continued its review of Wind River septic records after five additional filings from 2024 and early 2025 were flagged with language similar to those already under scrutiny, with follow-up correspondence to the contractor planned. Most consequentially, members set a special open session for May 6 at 5:30 p.m. to discuss Article 19 ahead of the Annual Town Meeting on May 13, and directed staff to notify the Board of Selectmen that five Common Road wells drilled in August 2024 have no well-driller reports or water tests on file, roughly 20 months past the state's 30-day testing requirement.
