PLYMPTON — The Plympton Planning Board adjourned its August 18 meeting after just three minutes, with no applications or correspondence to review. Members approved minutes from both the June 16 and July 21 meetings on unanimous voice votes. The board also resolved a scheduling conflict after noting its regular September 1 meeting date falls on the Massachusetts state primary election, when municipal boards are "legally not allowed to meet." Rather than find a substitute date, members voted unanimously to skip that session and resume their regular schedule on September 15.
One member called it "our quickest" meeting on record, and another joked, "I can't believe we got nothing to do."
