Plympton Zoning Board Continues Ricketts Pond Hearing to November 19

PLYMPTON — October 8, 2025 — Plympton Zoning Board continues Ricketts Pond hearing to November 19 after applicant's traffic study arrives late. The board voted unanimously at its October 8 session to push the continued public hearing to November 19 and to extend the statutory 180-day completion deadline from November 24, 2025, to January 5, 2026, after the applicant's commissioned traffic study was not transmitted until October 1 — too late for peer reviewer JDE to complete its analysis before the meeting. No representatives of the applicant or its engineer, McKenzie Engineering, were present, and no substantive testimony was heard. Greg Driscoll, identified by the chair as connected to the application, accepted a paper copy of McKenzie Engineering's response to JDE's peer review report and indicated he would begin preparing responses. The chair acknowledged a communications breakdown had brought a room of attendees to a meeting that lasted roughly ten minutes.
